Dreamy Dance Sequence still

Hey y'all! Hope all is well. As I was falling asleep yesterday, thinking about this crush I have, I thought it would be cool to do an animation about asking a girl out on a date. But, as we all probably know, sometimes it just isn't that easy. Your crush might not know that you exist at all, let alone want to go out on a date with you. And so, this is a tale of someone who wants to ask this girl on a date to the school dance... problem is, he doesn't quite have the courage to do so, but the world doesn't agree with him and tries to get him to just ask her and stop delaying.

This short animation I have in mind will be a semi-silent film (meaning no dialogue... just music and emotions. I wanted to try and challenge myself with just animating emotions to get my point across.) I haven't storyboarded it yet, but I know how I want to start it and how I want to end it... and I did a bit of pre-visual animation as a kind of teaser trailer (I only have the playblast and it doesn't have music or sound effects yet) So... without further adieu, here is my pre-visual for "Just Ask Her!"
